After many weeks of hair-pulling preparation Monday, March 2nd we moved into our beautiful new building. It has two classrooms, a huge kitchen (perfect for food prep/nutrition classes!) and a gigantic recreation room. There's a large office and 3 bathrooms. In addition, we have an excellent area outside for gardening. Excitement is certainly in the air here and we're planning all sorts of great activities and projects you'll be hearing about very soon.
With the new location comes a bit of a different routine for our ADT program. Individuals will have the opportunity to choose to attend a number of classes throughout the day. We will be offering the following classes on a day to day basis:
-Computer skills
-Current Local/World Events
-Agriculture Class (vegetable & flower gardens)
-Cooking & Nutrition
-Arts & Crafts
-Work Skill Building
As always, various community outings/field trips will be taking place throughout each week.

Our group art project "Recycle The World" was awarded Best Social Commentary at the Sun Coast Area Art Show hosted by the APD. Good Job Guys!
